Brandt was the guy people kept asking about mid-game, and for good reason. He has good positional size, he plays with poise, and he just continues to make winning plays on the floor. During the high school season, he was THE GUY with the ball in his hands, and you saw that pop at times on Day 1, but he also showed that he could make those same plays off the ball as well. He knocked down shots, stayed active off the ball, and communicated defensively while guarding multiple positions. He competes and embraces both ends, and that puts you in a good spot. He’s a small school prospect who clearly belongs.  Brandt earned attention with a strong two-way showing, and while it was something that I saw throughout the season, it was one of those wake-up calls for others.
