About Jack

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like a fast style of play. On my rebounds, I prefer to turn and go. I have good ball handling skills for a 6ft 5" player, having played point guard for my 3rd thru 6th grade teams. This year, I lead my u16 team in points per game, as well as rebounds per game. But what really makes our team great, is I am just as likely to make the pass for the open shot, as I am to take the shot.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very independent. When I focus on something, I see it through to the end. I enjoy mastering new things.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Class President, Gold Honor Roll.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My friends look to me to organize events. Just this last weekend I successfully organized a team of softball players, finding a sponsor, and a coach as well. Our team won the 16u division in the State Coed Championship.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have been fortunate to have not faced any significant challenges. I spend my time focused on improving my self. Between school, work, and sports, I keep my self very busy. No time to get into trouble

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a good business program, and where I can contribute to the success of the college's basketball program.
