Sam Duren | Prep Hoops Scout
The senior wing made a huge difference in the closing quarter of the contest. At times in the fourth quarter, Douglass actually looked rattled. It was Breath who got on the ball, helped bring it up the court and generally calmed the team down. Then he ended a longer possession with a great drive to the rim that ended an OCS run and started to swing momentum back Douglass way. Breath remains an interesting prospect because he has these flashes of true guard skills with a big wingspan, 6 foot 6 frame. If the light fully comes at the next level, Breath could be a sneaky steal for a college program.

Senior standout jace breath jace breath 6'6" Epic Home | 2023 OK doesn’t get near as much shine as some of the other prospects within this loaded Douglass lineup. But he is a critical part of what the Trojans do on both sides of the ball. He’s your typical “utility” player that does all the “dirty work” for the Trojans. On offense, he’s setting picks and posted up in the paint, looking to get any second chance opportunities. On defense, Breath is a long and athletic player that can guard opponents in the post or step out and use that length and athleticism on the perimeter. If the Trojans end up making a run at another gold ball, it will be because they have a player like Breath who is the ultimate role player that continues to see his stock rise as an overall basketball prospect.
