34↑26 Saw Garcia this weekend at the Wild West Shootout, and he deserves a little bump in the rankings. He’s going on my all irrational confidence team for sure, as Garcia stays aggressive throughout games. What he showed through his play, is that he has the ability to score the basket ball, with his specialty being using dribble drives to get into the lane and score.

If nothing else Garcia does not lack for confidence. Struggling to make shots in the first half did not deter Garcia from being aggressive, and his aggression paid off in the second half as he scored 19 of his 26 points during the second stanza. Garcia did a good job of getting paint touches and finishing mid range jumper over contested hands.

Saw Garcia this fall during our expo, he was ok, but I believe the value of his game translates more to real games vs camp formats. The versatile guard does a little bit of everything for his team, so I expect him to impact the game in a variety of ways this weekend.

Garcia attended our Prep Hoops Expo back in September, and I’ll get to see more of him when I go up to the Wild West Shootout in December. Versatile guy that should be a vital piece to a 5A North Contender.
