About Isaiah
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I and many others would describe my play style as getting the ball and go. I like to push the ball and get free, easy, fast break points. I'm quick with the ball and i'm always looking to score in transition, or dish to the open man trailing behind, or sitting ahead. If not that, I'm always into passing over scoring. If I have an off-game, shots aren't falling, I'll be sending out assists.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality towards basketball is always positive. I've got my head up in all situations and look to the good side of things. If a mistake is made, I don't hang my head. I keep it up, and try to fix the mistake in the next play.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am. I have played for Fox Valley Lutheran Hoops Club, class of 2029, looking forward to a successful upcoming high school career.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Over time, I have really developed my mindset towards this sport. I always look at the better side of things, and try to improvise when things are looking bad, or my team is struggling. I pick up my teammates and help them keep their heads up in all moments of the game, good or bad.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I have not faced any significant, career affecting challenges, no. But playing in competitive tournaments and falling short of gold is one challenge that I have faced many times. Coming within the grasp of a tournament win and falling short only motivates me to step up and go past my losses, and overcome them.
What type of college are you looking for?
Really any college. Any college that accepts a player like me, who wants to be recognized for attitude on and off the court. I've always looked at the University of Alabama, coming from my home town Tuscaloosa, AL. I love watching them play in all sports, specifically basketball, and would love to have the honor to be apart of their roster.

Chris Robinson | Prep Hoops Scout
Burleton emerged as a true two-way standout for Team 14. Defensively, he disrupted passing lanes with length and anticipation, sparking transition opportunities. Offensively, he applied pressure at the rim with assertive drives and made steady, controlled decisions in the half-court. Burleton’s balance of defensive activity and offensive poise gave his team an edge on both ends.
