Veenhof is a big, strong, and athletic guard who brings a physical presence to the backcourt. He executes well, attacks the rim with confidence, and can finish with either hand, making him a productive slasher and scorer. Offensively, he shows versatility—knocking down the pull-up jumper and proving he’s capable from three when defenders sag off. With his size, strength, and skill set, the sophomore looks primed for a breakout season with the Bulldogs.

Veenhof was also a varsity guard off the bench for class A Madison. He’s a big guard with some body mass and he’s got skill and composure at a young age. He can handle the ball and shows great court vision as a passer. Passes well and on target to teammates. Offensively, he likes to methodically and effectively get to his spots and his middle game.

The 6’3” Freshman guard also got into the game in the 1st quarter. Veenhof had a very good game and was in the game when the action mattered most. He’s thick and strong physically for a young guard. He hit a three and I have him for 7 points in the game.

Veenhof is now up to 6’2” and it looks as though his frame and build are even more developed. He looks more muscular and thicker. He surely didn’t look like a Freshman.

Veenhof I’ve been familiar with now for the last couple years. He has a solid build and plays with some strength as a scoring, shot-making 2-guard. He can pop a rhythm three and will go off the drive and pull-up from midrange. A very smooth and confident off the bounce jump shot. He’s not afraid to take a pull-up transition three, either. He can create his own buckets. Loves to pull off a series of between the legs handling, then picks spots to attack the hoop quickly. A true three-level threat that can create at every level. He’ll be with TEAM Warwick ‘s top 15U team next offseason.
