I hadn’t seen much of Harris until the last 6 weeks or so and now I’ve seen him at multiple camps and he was most impressive on Saturday. Hayden is big and well built and is probably able to bully many opponents in the 13th region but also showed solid mechanics on his jumpshot and above average athleticism. Long term, he could be the type of player to go to a junior college, get more comfortable at the wing spot and end up D1 in a year.

One of my favorite players I watched all summer on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Harris is an under the radar talent who I think Division II and NAIA programs should be all over right now. A stretch four with the size and skill to space out the defense while also having the frame to add muscle in college, Harris has a lot of skills that will translate to the college level. As one of the tallest players at the camp, Harris had to defend opposing bigs and it was interesting watching him compete in the paint and seeing bigs defend Harris on the perimeter. I think Harris is a scholarship level talent and expect him to get some buzz with a big senior season.

Harris is long and very bouncy and could be a top sleeper in Kentucky’s 2024 class. It will be interesting to see if Hayden can put his foot on the gas all day tomorrow and play with a relentless motor. If he does that, he’ll have a shot to be one of the top players at camp.

A very intriguing prospect, Harris has a lot of ability that he showed off on Friday evening. At his size, he moves well on the perimeter and can put it on the floor. Able to shoot it from the outside as well, Harris has an slashing-shooting combo that’s rare for a player his size. A guy regional scholarship programs should be all over, Harris is one of the higher upside prospects playing this weekend in the 17 U division the Grit Region Finals event.

A productive 6’7″ forward from Clay County High School (KY), Harris is one of the better prospects to watch for KY Hoops 2024. They will play at 6:30 on Court 2 at the Pacers Athletic Center against EG10 ‘ last=”] 20224. Harris runs the floor very well, is bouncy around the basket, and rebounds the ball at a high level. He is a very good athlete with length and has had a very good summer.

Harris is a long and athletic combo forward with a lot of potential to be an impact player at the next level. Hayden is 6’6 and bouncy with the ability to get to the bucket from the wing. While he has a tendency to fall in love with his jumper, Harris is not a knockdown shooter and is at his best when he’s attacking the rim instead of settling for outside shots.
