With a large group coming to town, we wanted to take an opportunity to preview the event and some top names at the showcase. Here’s a look at some of the top 2024 prospects coming tomorrow. Presented in jersey order.
King came to the Top 250 last season and showed he’s a high level shooter whose all around game has good upside. Playing for a home school team has limited his exposure but Sammy has garnered some interest from colleges to play at the next level.
Brandenburg hails from Powell County so he’s not gotten a ton of exposure up to this point. I’m interested to see him tomorrow after he posted a double double average of 14 points and 10 rebounds per game last season for the Pirates.
Also hailing from Powell County, Rose is a volume scorer that averaged 17 points per game as a Junior. A bigger guard, Jack can have a really good day at camp tomorrow if he can showcase some improved shooting efficiency.
Highlights
Whitaker has been one of my favorite “under the radar” players in this class for the last couple of years. A long wing with a good skill level and nice feel for the game, Zane has had impressive showings at our camps in the past and I expect no different on Saturday.
Harris is long and very bouncy and could be a top sleeper in Kentucky’s 2024 class. It will be interesting to see if Hayden can put his foot on the gas all day tomorrow and play with a relentless motor. If he does that, he’ll have a shot to be one of the top players at camp.
