The main ball handler, shooter, creator and scorer for Jefferson last season, Gus also had a nice 17u season playing with the Minnesota Gold.
Gus is 6’2 and about 160 pounds, and is very good at creating his own shot off the dribble and relocating off the ball to find open looks. Vollmuth exhibits great court vision, making smart, quick reads to set up his teammates. A football player as well, we think Gus will have a big senior year.

Vollmuth is a skilled shooter with a well-rounded scoring skillset. Whenever he isn’t getting by his defender and to the rim as a ball-handler, he’s constantly moving without the ball to get himself open looks. The sharpshooter moves with a bounce in his step, has deep range, and can score from any level. Vollmuth can light it up quickly and score in bunches to lead a run and give his team a spark.
