Baez-Rodriguez can also play on the wing, which makes him an intriguing prospect to track. The 6’5 guard has a nice first step, which he uses to get to his spot on the floor and finishes in a variety of ways around the rim. Baez-Rodriguez moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the half court. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated passer. Baez-Rodriguez is a lanky guard prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the course of the season.
