Pagano makes his way to Cheshire Academy from Pennsylvania, appearing in our rankings for the first time. The PA Hoops Academy guard had a strong showing on the travel circuit this summer, proving to be a consistent and reliable perimeter shooter. He has a high release point and gets the ball into his shooting slot quickly off the catch. He moves well without the ball, finding open windows off drives and doing early work to get his feet set. When the ball finds him, he makes quick decisions, either attacking space off the bounce or moving the ball with crisp passes. Defensively, he can guard either spot in the back-court and has proven to be a reliable team defender that is willing to get on the floor for loose balls and take charges when necessary. He should be on the radar of high academic D3’s and has a chance to become a priority recruit for those type of programs this winter.
