Ethan McDonald, A 6-3 senior guard was hands down the best prospect I saw from Team 7 as he was in full-attack mode from the opening jump. McDonald has also continued to improve his outside shooting and it was on display at the Prep Hoops Top 250. McDonald has been shown interest from Coastal Alabama, Calhoun CC and West Florida so far in the fall recruiting period. On the defensive end, McDonald showed a ton of versatility where he can guard multiple positions and has shown great footwork on the interior. Be on the lookout for McDonald to have a breakout senior season this year.

Ethan McDonald, A 6-3 senior combo guard can score on all three levels where he averaged 14 points per game and shot nearly 40 percent from the field last season. McDonald plays with a high IQ and will rarely make a mistake on the offensive end as well as play very unselfish where he gets his teammates involved. McDonald also makes significant plays on the defensive end where he is very active in the passing lanes where he can get steals to turn into points on the other end as well. McDonald plays with a ton of length where he has a knack for guarding mismatches and forcing the opposition into taking difficult shots.

The 6-3 rising senior combo guard is one of the top scorers to keep your eye on this upcoming season. McDonald can score on all three levels as well as finish above the rim. McDonald can score off the catch or off the bounce as he has developed and gets his teammates involved often. His assist-to-turnover ratio also improved this past season and is starting to gain interest from college coaches. McDonald averaged 14.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for Jay and led the Royals to a regional final appearance last season.

McDonald is coming off a sophomore season, where he averaged 22.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game for Jay High School and shot 40 percent from beyond the arc. McDonald is considered to be a two-way player as he adds hard nose defense to go along with his sharpshooting from all over the floor. He had seven games last season where he recorded three or more steals in a game, as he adds superb court awareness and vision. Expecting a big junior season for the 6-1 shooting guard.
