Ezekiel, a forward out of Notre Dame High School – West Haven in Connecticut, makes his impact as a versatile, two-way performer. The 6’7″ forward is a floor spacer that does a nice job of mixing up his movements as a screener, rolling hard to the rim or popping for shot opportunities. He has a nose for the ball on the offensive glass, keeping plays alive with his length and finishing well through contact. Defensively, he’s able to guard in space on switches and shows some potential as a rim protector too. He plays on the travel circuit with the New England Blue Chips.

It’s always good to see underclassmen step up on the big stage, and Ezekiel did just that while delivering Notre Dame crucial minutes in each half despite the narrow loss. A lengthy forward with burgeoning athleticism, Ezekiel showed soft hands and touch along with a keen sense for positioning while working himself free for easy buckets en route to 8 points on a perfect 4-4 from the field. He was active on the backline defensively while changing ends with enthusiasm and showing promising long-term athletic tools in the process. Overall he was a +9 in his 12 minutes of action off the bench. Very young for his grade and already looking bigger than when we last saw him, Ezekiel appears to have a bright future with his best basketball still ahead of him.
