King has had a terrific career so far with Eagle Academy in the Bronx, winning a PSAL title last year and he is now back for his final season. The expectations are sky high, he should have a ton of points, lots of three and wins. His recruitment and signing was up in the air until he recently announced he would making his college decision. He told everyone on Tuesday that he will headed to Albany next year which makes him the first Eagle Bx prospect to go straight from the PSAL to Division 1.

King had so many big moments as a Junior helping Eagle win it all last year. He’s back, he’s stronger, more confident and ready for an even larger workload. His ability to heat up quickly, find space, move off the ball and draw fouls is what we like the most. The Senior sniper has a chance to lead Eagle Bronx in scoring, threes and free throws but importantly wants to end his high school career with another ring.

One of the top three point shooters in the city. He averaged over three 3’s last season. Shoots it really well but is also a very good distributor of the ball with really good size. Great court vision and awareness. A talented stat stuffer.

King continues to have a strong Summer, coming right out of MHC play and looking like the primary scoring option for an Eagle Bronx team that will again challenge for the PSAL crown this season. It will be on senior guard, who enters his 4th year of varsity play, to lead his team through Smartball and into his final year as a whole.

King made one of the biggest jumps in the rankings, climbing from 49 to 15. King is one of the best shooters in the city, with the ability to score efficiently both from the catch and off the dribble. He puts the ball on the floor well, getting downhill and converting multiple floaters with touch. A lot of his impact goes unnoticed, but when that first shot drops, it’s going to be a long day for opponents.

He hit a catch and shot three from the left wing off an inbound pass and showed strong transition defense by stopping the break. He made a solid help side block on the big man and forced a turnover with his on ball pressure. He turned down a three for a smooth pull up jumper, then later connected on a right corner three to give his team the lead heading into overtime.

He started the game against Wings hot, connecting on a left-wing three off the catch, followed by a catch-and-shoot three from the right wing. He recorded a steal that led to an pinpoint pass from Gio as he finished in the paint and later hit a three from the top of the key.

He has been one of the most impressive shooters I’ve seen in New York City, consistently scoring from the perimeter. His confidence translates directly into his shooting, and with a high, quick release, he needs only a split second to get his shot off.

King is a heady point guard with impressive positional size, allowing him to see over defenders and control the game’s pace. He scores the ball efficiently at all three levels, picking his spots and staying under control. His vision and feel as a facilitator stand out, consistently creating quality looks for teammates. Fresh off an offer from Albany, King’s blend of IQ, size, and playmaking makes him a rapidly rising prospect.

He showcased his shooting touch, draining a variety of three pointers. On the defensive end, he stood out with strong help coverage that sparked a fast-break layup. His impact continued as he added a block and a steal, further highlighting his two-way presence on the floor.
