Can Eagle BX repeat in the PSAL?Roster Preview

The Senior floor general controls the entire show and entering his final year at Eagle has complete knowledge of the offense. He gets his guys easy looks, understands mismatches, feeds the hot hand and can get his shot off whenever he wants. His damage mainly comes from the mid range but he's really at his best when he's getting paint touches, creating contact and kicking out after successful drives. Moran is such an underrated prospect, he should have way more schools involved in his recruitment but he will instead focus in going back to back. King had so many big moments as a Junior helping Eagle win it all last year. He's back, he's stronger, more confident and ready for an even larger workload. His ability to heat up quickly, find space, move off the ball and draw fouls is what we like the most. The Senior sniper has a chance to lead Eagle Bronx in scoring, threes and free throws but importantly wants to end his high school career with another ring. He came to Eagle from Mount St. Michael's last season and was a serious threat off the bench for the 4A PSAL champs. He has experience as a point guard, he's got deep range, can effect the game off the ball and is just another offensive piece for Eagle. His skillset helps give their back court even more punch, he's familiar with the new transfers and should be one of the vocal leaders on this team. Gilmore returns to the front court and could be the x factor for this Eagle squad. They lost almost all their rebounding, lots of their toughness and rim protection. The hope is the rising Senior can take his game to the next level and become one of the top bigs in the PSAL. Lopez was really trending up all summer and looked like one of the future faces of the CHSAA before announcing the move to Eagle.  He's lightning quick, picks his spots, can shoot and defend. His decision making keeps improving, his confidence is growing, his shot selection has gotten better plus he loves to compete. This might be overkill but Lopez can take over the reigns of the offense and get everyone involved a she learns all the nuances of the offense.      While all these additions will be able to score including Kone he brings a little different type of game to Eagle. He's an elite athlete, a premium perimeter defender, he crates steals and havoc on opposing offense. His bounce is impressive, he's tough, physical and loves to challenge his opponent. Kone could be the reason Eagle puts up another banner if he can contribute consistently. The guards are flooding in but they also added George who should be a huge help alongside Gilmore. He's an impressive shot blocker, he plays above the rim, can catch lobs and score around the basket. His upside is still high, he can guard multiple spots, he's great in transition and should play a ton. Love George's potential with this coaching staff too. Lawson is a Senior transfer who brings experience, another scoring option and a guy who can space the floor. His role should grow through out the season and it wouldn't be surprising if he earned the trust of his coaches right away. He can heat up, get a bucket in a tight spot and could be another guy that if he performs well could get them back on top.
