Selk’s presence on the court is a huge plus for Waunakee as his long-distance shooting touch must always be accounted for by opposing teams. That attention can often open up the lane for drives to the basket for his teammates. In addition, Selk has now added the ability to slash to the hoop and either locate an open teammate or get all the way to the basket and score himself. He scored 11 points against La Follette, but his contribution in the victory also included a solid court presence, rebounding and strong defense inside and outside of the lane.
