About Dylan

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve had many different experiences to serve my community through Boy Scouts, my school and my church. I enjoy the opportunity to serve others, give back and see the world through others eyes. Most recently I traveled to Guatemala with some classmates and we did some mission work there. In these experiences, teamwork, communication and following directions, have all been essential skills.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Last summer, I had to have a surgery that took me out for 3 months. Couldn’t play basketball, lift, do much of anything physical, so I had to work hard to get muscle and endurance back. But now back feeling so much better. It was not only a physical battle, but mental as well. I keep putting in the work regularly to better myself as player.
