pass the 1000 point mark just makes the world seem right. He’s been one of the most electric shooters in the state of Michigan for more than years now. Yeager has the type of jumper from beyond the arc that can flat out change the momentum of a game. The best part of him joining the 1000 point club is the fact that he’s actually worked to take the focus OFF his shooting and scoring. We all, college coaches included, knew he could shoot. But over the last couple of years, Yeager has highlighted his ability to run an offense, get open teammates the ball and defend at a high level. All of which he does at a VERY high level.

We talked about his brother MJ in our first look at must have seniors. Donny is similar, yet great in his own mold. He’s a very versatile guard with one of the purest jumpers in Michigan, and probably beyond that. Yeager is a very high IQ guard that makes great decisions with the ball. He’s a tremendously efficient passer and ball handler.

Yeager’s top competition for the best shooter might come from the same household. Similarly, Donny is way more than just a shooter, but that doesn’t mean he can’t fill it up with the best. If you step off him, he can and will make you pay.

Donny Yeager, A 5-11 senior guard bursted onto the scene with his ability to shoot the basketball from beyond the arc at a high level. Yeager also made good decisions with the basketball showing off his great IQ getting assists, as well as showing a ton of activity on the defensive side. Yeager continues to rise as one of the top two-way prospects I saw this weekend at the Prep Hoops Top 250.

#614 – The Yeager brothers were on a mission this weekend in Longwood, FL and finished as two of my top standouts throughout the Top250 event. Donny Yeager showed off his ability to be a consistent knockdown shooter from deep range, but it was the tight handles and him keeping his head up to find open teammates that solidified his overall game. Don’t sleep on his defense as he provided solid effort on that side of the ball as well.

Donny Yeager, A 6-0 senior guard came to Florida from Michigan and didn’t disappoint with his presence to light it up from beyond the arc. Yeager played very efficiently and showed his high IQ and feel for the game as his decision making continue to improve. Donny continues to rise as one of the top scoring guards in the state of Michigan for the senior class. He has been recruited by multiple D2 schools such as Northwood University who offered him earlier in the week.

The brother of MJ Yeager will also make the trek down to the Sunshine State where both brothers will have the chance to shine in front of college coaches and Prep Hoops Florida scouts. Danny Yeager is a baller in his own right, as he’s another elite lights-out shooter from behind the arc that can rack up points on the stat sheet. Excited to see how the brothers perform against Florida talent. He’s also picked up offers from Northwood University, Mid Michigan College, and Kuyper College. 2022 stats: 16.5 ppg, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals, 40.5 3P%Twitter: @donnyyeager1Film: https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15641955/641f3fff6655fe076cb0524d

If the state of Michigan had a 3 point shooting contest, there’s a very real possibility that the top 2 might have the last name of Yeager. Donny’s jumper stands alone, and honestly, it has the look and feel of a big time elite shooter. College coaches are going to want to see it in person like we all did at the David Barns Showcase.

Let’s just get right to the other half of The Parking Lot Brothers”. I can’t even fathom the backyard 3 point contests in the Yeager household. They both have elite range and consistency.

If you read Part 2 about his brother MJ, insert that here. He’s better than a high level shooter. I really like the improvements Donny has made to his game over the last year or so, specifically his ball handling and passing.
