Perkins keeps developing with his play. He is a space eater with broad shoulders. He is assertive on the glass and wills ways to collect rebounds. Perkins is able to alter shots and has great timing when going up to alter a shot. He also scores around the bucket easily and has nice touch inside of 10 feet. He has no problem doing whatever is needed for the good of his team to help win games.

Perkins showed great toughness and selflessness in the nightcap game Friday. He did all the little things well and this amounted to a ton of winning plays. He was a tough player to box out on the offensive end and always found a body to box out on defense. He is a tough physical kid who wares you out as the game goes on. Perkins has a quick lateral step that allows them to get in the help side, chest up, and then get back to his own man quick. He was in the right spot on defense. He ran the floor hard and got a lot of easy buckets that way. His ability to set strong ball screens started to make the guards worry more about getting hit than defending the ball handler. This opened up a ton of scoring opportunities.

One of the most improved players in the state from the summer, Perkins has taken huge strides with his confidence and production. More confident catching the ball in traffic, finishing and moving off the ball, Perkins entire game has gone to the next level. He plays on a Lutheran East team with a lot of size and depth which allows them to play Perkins in a couple different roles on the court. A name to watch in northeast Ohio, Perkins should continue to improve and make an impact.

Perkins has great size and has some physical tools that are very intriguing. A tough player to keep on off the glass, Perkins has good strength and wasn’t afraid to throw his weight around. He still has a ways to go as an offensive player, Perkins mostly just scored at the rim on layups and putbacks. A name to know in northeast Ohio, few kids in the 2027 class are bigger in the region.
