Summer Stock Risers

Malonga is a versatile forward who had a productive July with Team Thrill and provided valuable depth with his offensive arsenal. He has an effective mid-range game and can also space the floor from three, giving him value as an inside-out scorer. Malonga is a switchable defender who can guard multiple positions and bring versatility on both ends of the floor. With his combination of offensive skill and defensive versatility, Malonga is a prospect who should be firmly on division one radars.     Perkins had a productive summer on the HGSL, establishing himself as one of the most productive post players throughout the season. He is an anchor on the block who is very difficult to contain once he establishes position. I like how he stays within himself and doesn't try to do too much, allowing the game to come to him. Perkins scores through contact and consistently finds ways to get to the foul line. He is also extremely active on the glass and seems determined to come down with every rebound that comes off the rim. Perkins has plenty of division two programs recruiting him and could have low-major schools lurking in the background as his stock continues to rise.     Ehigie had a productive AAU season, using his blend of size, power, and athleticism to consistently outmuscle opponents. He is a threat to score and has no issues seeking out contact when attacking the basket. Ehigie spends plenty of time at the charity stripe, a reflection of the pressure he puts on defenses. I like the energy he brings to the game and the way he impacts each possession. Defensively, Ehigie is a switchable defender who can guard multiple positions and add value on both ends of the floor.     Freeman is the ultimate jack-of-all-trades who does whatever is needed to help his team win basketball games. He scores the ball in a variety of ways and provides valuable depth as a scorer. I like how he plays off two feet when attacking, allowing him to stay balanced and finish through traffic. Freeman can also turn defense into offense by jumping passing lanes and creating opportunities in transition. He is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential, and his best basketball is still ahead of him.     Gale is a two-way guard who plays with a great deal of energy whenever he steps onto the floor. He can lead the break in transition and has no issues going coast to coast off the bounce. Gale is effective at touching the paint when attacking and consistently puts pressure on the defense. He also has good touch around the basket, allowing him to capitalize on scoring opportunities once he gets downhill.
