Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Kaba has the ability to make a highlight play in a matter of seconds. He fills the lane with ease. Kaba can be a little herky-jerky but gets to different spots. He shows flashes spacing the floor with his shooting. Kaba has good size and length for the position. His size can be imposing for smaller defenders. He is someone that should be a priority for low majors who need a guy who can make an immediate impact.

Dockery is a lightning-fast guard whose quickness and shiftiness make him a nightmare for defenders to stay in front of. His explosive first step allows him to blow by opponents and create opportunities at the rim or for his teammates. Dockery’s playmaking ability shines through his vision and creativity, consistently setting up teammates for high-quality looks. With his combination of speed, handles, and playmaking instincts, he’s a constant offensive threat.

Kaba is a big, athletic wing who can play on the ball. Unlike many true 6-foot-5 players, he has the ball on a string and does a really good job using his body in the pick and roll; he can get the defender on his back, and he’s able and willing to throw pocket passes and other kick-out passes to teammates. He can also score for himself by driving hard to the rim and using his excellent length to finish, or pulling up in the mid-range and elevating over the defense. Defensively, Kaba plays hard and has active hands. His shot is a bit slow, but if he can get it quicker, he could be a really high level D1 prospect.

was one of the biggest winners of the weekend who impressed many in attendance, including myself. His offensive skill was evident, getting into the basket with good speed and agility with a solid handle. His shooting was on point, hitting off-the-dribble mid-range shots and three-point shots off the catch with even a jab step trey he pulled off. His on-ball defense was also outstanding as well, smothering ball handlers and creating turnovers through pure effort and determination. The transfer from New York is a sleeper no more and put himself firmly on the map.
