Valles continues to show why he’s rising on the rankings list. As a point guard he attacks the basket with confidence, using quick drives and a smooth step back jumper to score in multiple ways. He’s equally focused on creating for others, reading the defense and setting up teammates with smart passes that keep the offense flowing. On defense he applies constant pressure, challenging ball handlers, forcing turnovers and disrupting rhythm. His combination of scoring ability, playmaking and defensive intensity makes him a true two way threat. Valles demonstrated that he can take over a game while elevating his teammates, solidifying his status as a player to watch
