All game, Smith was playing hard on defense, picking up loose balls to get a fastbreak advantage on the other end. He played a very well game all-around. The reason he is on this list, though, is his clutch shot-making and awareness to be in the right spots. At the end of regulation, Smith broke the tie with a corner three from a baseline kick from one of his teammates. That could have been the game winner if it weren’t for Uncheckable hitting a crazy buzzer-beater right after. In the second overtime, Smith positioned himself right under the basket for an easy pass and the game-winner. His positioning/shot-making won his team the game!

Smith, I saw with Sanford last summer. He’s a junkyard dog type of forward that is physical and brings the juice 100% of the time until the clock strike zero. He’s muscled-up, physical, and can defend multiple positions. Moves his feet well laterally and competes on the glass. There will be updates throughout the Summer on Smith and his play with Sanford this offseason.
