Playing with and against more well-known forwards, Fitzpatrick fit right in. He instantly added value on the offensive glass with second-chance points and on the defensive glass after blocking shots. Fitzpatrick showed flashes of skills too, catching and facing from the elbow and beating his man to the cup off the bounce, in addition to finding angles to score over post defenders with his footwork.

With his broad shoulders, Fitzpatrick has the size to be a traditional big man, but he’s a bit more than that. Fitzpatrick has touch from the second level, able to knock down jumpers from the elbow and short corner. When that’s not open, he can also put the ball on the floor and get to the rack with 1-2 dribbles.
