-Got a chance to see Bush compete for the first time at the CP3 Rising Stars camp and really came away impressed with his pace and burst in the halfcourt. When it comes to his pace, it’s not just the quickness that makes him special– it’s how seamlessly he can change direction to weave through a defense and how smoothly he gets to his pull-up going either direction. His activity as an off-ball mover that understands the importance of footwork (his footwork on movement threes throughout the weekend going either direction was among the best in the camp) and timing often frees him up for kick-out jumpers that he calmly drilled over a litany of different defenders. In an era that places a premium on self-created offense that is effective from all 3 levels, Bush is a national name that should be on coach’s radars early on in his HS career.

My biggest stock riser from the weekend, Bush was flat out dominant as a scorer against the best of the best from Ohio. One of the most skilled guards in the midwest from the class of 2029, Bush is able to change pace and directions effortlessly with the ball in his hands. Bush was shooting the ball at an extremely high clip on the perimeter, both off the catch and off the dribble. Bush hit a four-point play late in a thrilling contest Vs defending Ohio state champion Cincinnati Princeton. One of the top scorers at the 15 U level on the 3SSB circuit for Phenom United, Bush is looking like a recruit who could make the national rankings if he continues to develop and expand his game past just being a scorer.
