Coleman is an emerging guard prospect out of West Charlotte to keep an eye on after producing 12.3 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 2.4 APG and 1.8 SPG on 41 percent shooting from the floor as a freshman on varsity in 2023-24. He’s a 6-foot-1 prospect who’s stood out on both the hardwood and the football field for the Lions as he begins his high school career.

Coleman was a bright spot at West Charlotte this season, showcasing skills that make me think he’ll have a bright future there for the next three years. He’s got the capability to score it at every level, knocking down threes or getting paint touches and looking to either score or find the open man. Also pretty good positional size at 6’1 and still both growing and filling out into his long frame.

Coleman is becoming a name to know over at West Charlotte, as he’s had some big games this year en route to averaging 12.5 PPG and 2.5 SPG. He’s a physical, sturdy guard who plays very well with the ball in his hands, and not just as a scorer. He makes the right dump off pass, fling pass, or other reads and he sees the floor well. He’s had some big scoring outbursts too, including a game winner and 20 points at the Phenom New Years Bash, and a 33 point game against Morrow HS. Keep an eye on him and Dub C over the next few years.
