First up on my list of players who stepped up on day three of the Big Red Box Holiday Invitational is the Tournament Most Valuable Player, Christian Brown Christian Brown 6'0" | PG Irmo | 2027 State SC . Brown averaged 17 Points Per Game across the three games this week, including an 18-point game yesterday in the Championship. Christian knocked down three threes in that game, including two off an excellent shot fake, which is deadly against teams that know how good a shooter he is. He also has a couple of nice buckets inside as well, but the difference between Brown being a good player and a great player will be how he can make plays for others, which he flashed with some nice reads in the pick-and-roll.

Christian really blew up late in the Summer at the Phenom Summer Havoc Live with SC Blazers . At that event, he had a few monster games, including one in front of me where he connected on several threes. I’ll be interested to see his role for the Yellow Jackets in regard to his high-level shooting ability.

First up on my list of Saturday Standouts from the Phenom Summer Havoc Live is Christian Brown Christian Brown 6'0" | PG Irmo | 2027 State SC . I knew about Christian and his shooting ability from watching him previously, but this was his best performance in front of me as he exploded for 34 points on Saturday in a big win. Brown is a true microwave scorer – a guy who heats up quickly, and once he’s in the zone, he will make shots no matter the defense. Christian was 6-15 from three in Game One, displaying his shooting ability off the catch, off the dribble, and off BLOBs. He also has a nice floater game and finished and-1 late in the game.
