Cannon is another prospect who has blossomed in his increased role this season. He has led Riverdale to a lot of wins this season with his consistency. Cannon battles hard down low and welcomes the physicality needed to be a force inside each night. Although he likes to get his points in the paint, Greene can hit from the perimeter both inside and outside. Turned himself into a true 3-level scorer this year. Another note from Cannon’s offensive improvement is his ability to get to the free throw line and knock them down consistently. His motor never stops. Cannon attacks the paint relentlessly all game, drawing different matchups over the course of the game due to foul trouble or for relief. Collects offensive rebounds from constant activity and good positioning. Doesn’t allow the defense to stop him from where he wants to go. Greene has certainly had a stock-rising few months.

Cannon Green was in attack mode all game for Riverdale Baptist. Cannon is well-built and extremely strong, and he uses that when he attacks the rim. He uses his physicality really well, and opposing guards and wings have a hard time dealing with his strength and athleticism. Cannon lived at the line all game, and if he would have had a better day there, you’re looking at an easy 30 ball. Cannon still led all scorers today with 27 points and 9 rebounds.

Despite the various weapons on the Riverdale team, Greene stood out as one of the most reliable players for Riverdale Baptist. He possesses the physical approach and scoring prowess from all 3 levels. While using his strong 225lbs size to rebound and contain his defensive assignments.

-Caught Greene on a rare off shooting night but the senior wing still found ways to impact the game on the glass and by taking his matchup off the bounce. 6’4 with a sturdy frame, his footwork has really improved to pivot around defenders on the low block and the touch around the basket allows his to score it much easier in traffic. With 3 different And-1 lays off of short rolls to the rim and backdoor cuts, he proved that he can finish through contact as well. Greene’s blend of ball skills and size point make him a name to track in 2025

-Greene pick-n-popped his way back onto our radar as a shooter with good size that is comfortable letting it fly on C+S looks but can also duck under closeouts to lace an 18-footer. Greene hit a putback on a teammates’ miss, hit two 1-dribble jumpers from the midrange, hit a pick n pop 3, and used his frame well to buck his defender backwards on the drive before lacing another pull-up middie. If Greene proves that he can guard multiple positions and speed up his footwork, he could be in for a stock-rising senior season at Riverdale

Cannon Greene Cannon Greene 6'4" | SF Riverdale Baptist | 2025 State MD was a force for Riverdale Baptist today. He is a fantastic shooter and does well in the paint. He is strong and doesn’t shy away from contact. STAB had real problems controlling Cannon on the glass, and he collected a lot of offensive rebounds. He finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
