Cam had his inside-outside game working against Wheeler, scoring at the basket and from the perimeter. The wiry swingman netted three three-pointers and scored on a pair of drives. Catholic has an intriguing game that could translate well to the next level. When he’s at his best, he’s filling up the box score on both ends of the floor while providing versatile offensive production. Against Wheeler, Catholic had 14 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. He looked much more comfortable than when I watched him in their preseason scrimmage which bodes well as he continues to gel with his new team.

Now playing for a more spotlighted program, Catholic will have the opportunity to raise his profile and prove himself against higher level talent. He’s a long, energetic wing that can impact the game at both ends. He’s skilled offensively and a streaky shooter that can really heat up quick. This will be the sink or swim year for Catholic and Langston Hughes seems like a great fit where he should succeed.

Catholic moves in from Arlington Christian. Cameron at 6-foot-5 has the ability to a little bit of everything. He scores inside and out. He uses his length well when attacking the rim, extending to beat any shot blockers. Catholic spaces the floor with his three-point shot and is a quality defender that guards multiple spots and is an effective rebounder.

Up from No. 71: Long swingman that can score at all levels. Creates off the dribble as a slasher but can also pour in threes. Makes an impact on defense with his ability to defend on the perimeter and alter shots in the paint.

Cameron Catholic Cameron Catholic 6'5" | SF Langston Hughes | 2024 State GA first sparked my interest after putting on a display of great scoring at our fall showcase. He’s got all the tools you look for in a wing, just hasn’t been able to gain the necessary exposure to be a highly-touted prospect. Catholic is a great three-point shooter and lets it fly with a ton of confidence. He also runs the floor really well and likes to get above the rim in transition. The skillset is there for Catholic and as he continues to get a better understanding of how to attack defenses, he will grow even more dominant. His name could become a lot more popular if he lands with the right team in the spring/summer.

Provided a nice amount of offense for his team throughout their matchup with TRS, showcasing his ability to be a legit SG prospect on the next level. He has good size for a Guard at 6’4, a long wingspan and all the tools to be as good on the defensive end as he is on the offensive end. He scored a game high of 28 Points, knocking down seven three pointers and although his team came up short, he proved himself as a player that college coaches should be watching.

Catholic proved to be one of the best shooters in the building and shot the ball with a lot of confidence. He also ran the floor extremely well where he was able to finish at the rim in transition.
