Continue ReadingPlaying with Campbell through the month of June, we saw the huge step forward that Feroyre High Feroyre High 6’4″ | PG Campbell | 2024 State GA has taken since his junior year. With David Clark David Clark 6’7″ | PF Wheeler | 2024 State GA off to Wheeler, all signs point to Feroyre leadng the charge alonsgide a strong crew of sidekicks and role players. He’s a bigger point guard that’s proven capable of scoring in a number of ways. His game is effective in both fast and slow paced games too. Don’t count Campbell out after losing Clark as Feroyre High Feroyre High 6’4″ | PG Campbell | 2024 State GA is surely capable of carrying the load.
Cameron Catholic Cameron Catholic 6’5″ | SF Langston Hughes | 2024 State GA joins Langston Hughes for his senior year after spending the years prior at Arlington Christian. Now playing for a more spotlighted program, Catholic will have the opportunity to raise his profile and prove himself against higher level talent. He’s a long, energetic wing that can impact the game at both ends. He’s skilled offensively and a streaky shooter that can really heat up quick. This will be the sink or swim year for Catholic and Langston Hughes seems like a great fit where he should succeed.
Stephen Jackson Stephen Jackson 6’4″ | SG Mill Creek | 2024 State GA will be back in a Mill Creek jersey this year after being forced to miss his junior year with issues relating his transfer. Jackson should step in and make an instant impact with a real opportunity to shake things up in Region 8-7A. Jackson has great size for a guard that really helps him finish in traffic and he’ll throw it down if defenders don’t challenge him. Jackson already gained some steam through the summer with Norcross Heat and he’s been standing out at camps this fall, a big high school season is the next step in his rise.
Adonai Mussie Adonai Mussie 6’9″ | C Meadowcreek | 2024 State GA has been a hot name this fall, taking home MVP honors at the HBCU Elite 100 just last weekend. He’s transferred from Parkview to Meadowcreek and after playing a complimentary role to Jacob Wilkins Jacob Wilkins 6’9″ | SF Grayson | 2025 State #14 Nation GA last year, Mussie now looks ready to step into that premier offensive role. He’s got great vision for a big, adept at passing out of double teams and finding the open shooter. Mussie’s outside shooting ability also also opens up the floor and a stretch-4 role could fit him best at the college level.
North Cobb loses a lot of their firepower from last year but Noah Holloway Noah Holloway 6’4″ | SG North Cobb | 2024 State GA remains and steps right into the spotlight. Holloway has all the tools to be a star and we saw some really intriguing games from him throughout the spring and summer with Wood Elite. Holloway is a big, lefty combo guard with major springs, capable of catching the lob or punching one over a sleeping defender. He’ll face talented guards night in and night out in Region 5-7A but Holloway could prove to be a D1 talent down the road himself.
