Like Lorensen, he really knows how to get to the spots he wants to get to, especially in the mid-range. He’s nearly automatic from 15 feet and in, especially when he’s shooting it off the bounce. He elevates into his jumper so quickly that it seems to catch defenders off guard, and he’s able to shoot it uncontested. He knocked down big shot after big shot throughout the game. It sure looks like Briar Cliff is getting a steal with Boyd. He had 18 points on 8-13 shooting, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals in the loss.
