-Williams had an up and down afternoon as he works to become more familiar within a voluminous Coolidge guard rotation this season. Williams will probably be the Colts’ best bet this season to run the point as a throwback pure PG that excels in PnR possessions and can execute passing reads in tight windows in the halfcourt. Love the way that he sees the floor and gets teammates involved on a roster that graduated a ton of shot creation–including the reigning Player of the Year. If he can keep the turnovers to a minimum and create high-percentage looks for his teammates, he should be a huge piece for the Colts this season.

-His impact doesn’t always show up in the box score due to his unselfish style of play, but Williams always has an impact on the game as both a play-maker and defender for a young Ryken group. Williams gets up under his matchup before they put the ball on the floor and is really difficult to screen at the defensive end. Want to see him become a more vocal communicator because his IQ can really help direct traffic for a largely-inexperienced roster to encourage more timely rotations and defensive connectivity. William’s impact as a passer and ability to draw two before making the right play is so valuable, executing on passes through tight windows to lead to easy buckets for teammates.

Bryce saw the floor well as an undersized guard last season for Ryken, and now his added height gives him more perks as a PG. He scanned the floor with a lot more precision over the summer, now making passes he couldn’t make as well before the growth spurt. Bryce likes to move the ball ahead to teammates in transition and will always elect a great shot versus a good one. True point guard instincts that he has only improved upon since his freshman year. He saw the floor more and more due to his efficiency and growing trust, and now we are starting to see Bryce blossom as a featured guard. So far he is making the most of his opportunities.
