Jagne consistently made tough shots in a tight loss to Archbishop Carroll (DC), including a 3-pointer while being fouled to briefly put the Colts ahead in the final seconds. He finished with a team-high 17 points while connecting on three shots from deep.

Jagne doesn’t need a ton of space or time to get his shot off, and when defenders try to close out on him he can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim and finish from difficult angles.

A transfer from Bard (DC), Jagne should provide a scoring boost to a Coolidge team that lost several key pieces to graduation, including DCIAA Player of the Year Eric Turner.

-Jagne looks comfortable in new threads with the Colts as guard that can guard 1-3 pretty comfortably for this team. Previously just a set shooter, Jagne is now proving comfortable hitting movement 3s or hitting shots off the bounce– even drawing foul contact on two different plays beyond the arc at key moments in the game. He uses his length to be a disruptive force at the defensive end of the floor and is falling for shot fakes much less frequently to keep his man in front at all times.

It’s easy to appreciate the intelligent, balanced way that Jagne runs a team. He’s a crafty, unselfish combo guard who simply knows how to dictate the action as the primary creator. Jagne does a terrific job of breaking down opponents and navigating where he wants off the bounce. He sees the floor extremely well so that he’s able to evade extra defenders and quickly locate the best available shot on a regular basis. Jagne consistently got others involved, but elevated his scoring as needed late. He defended with energy and rebounded well for his size. Season average 17 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals a game.
