The sophomore class they got over at Mead is a fun one, full of talented prospects that are getting the experience needed to make a push for it next year or year after. They have solid guards and players who know what is expected of them. A player who has starred in his role is athletic wing, Stapp. Stapp has been the team’s catalyst early on. He delivers physicality and finishes high-energy plays. He goes all out on rebounds and keeps plays alive and is willing to do the dirty work for the team. He’s also a paint protector for the team. He’s putting up 6.1 rebounds and 2.4 blocks a game, and I expect him to have a big second half of the season as Mead tries to get the season on the right foot. He jumps on the rankings as a new name to know.
