While the Titans came up short in the title game, Rogers etched his named in Carl Albert lore with his clutch shooting during the tournament run. First it was forcing overtime and then winning it in overtime with their quarterfinal win over Class 5A favorites, Booker T Washington. Then went for 19 points on a very efficient shooting performance over school district rivals Del City in the semifinals. As a sharpshooter, Rogers took his game to new levels for his senior season.
