McCloud, an athletic wing out of the Loomis Chaffee School in Connecticut, has the ability to impact games with his strength, toughness, and physicality. A standout on the gridiron, he brings some of that physicality to the basketball floor, while also proving to be a plus athlete and fluid mover. He flies up the floor in transition, is a handful when he gets downhill off the bounce, and is capable of finishing through contact around the rim. Defensively, he can guard four positions on the floor, does a great job of shutting off dribble penetration, and has a terrific motor on the glass.
