Axton is young fundamentally sound guard who played with the poise of an upper classmen in transition and half-court sets. Unselfish with the ball in his hands and has burst when attacking the rim. Better as an off-ball scorer/playmaker than a primary but Axton has a good IQ, shot-making ability and defensive presence that college coaches desire. Knock down 2 big 3 pointers in the game against a tough Landon School to help Gonzaga secure a 69-65 victory.
