Youngs has been an emerging guard in this stacked 2028 class after a strong sophomore season at Broughton leading into a great start this spring/summer with SW15H Elite UA Rise 16u. Youngs has real flare to his game, deep shooting range, and a super high IQ that allows him to make all of the necessary plays to get the win. He’s a running back on the football team and he’s more than comfortable playing through contact when trying to get to the rim. He knows how and where to get his talented teammates the basketball while being more than comfortable playing in a wide open system or a slower half-court style when needed. He’s a fun guard to watch play and is super effective for whatever team he’s suiting up for and is really proving himself as a bonafide next level player.

Youngs is a kid that had a really strong high school season at Broughton and found a way to really get better as the year went along. He’s running with SW15H Elite 16s this year and had a great game to start the day here as his group coasted to a dominant win over a 17u team. Youngs finished with 20 points as he showcased his crafty finishing ability around the rim, outside touch, and aggressiveness as a driver. Youngs plays the game with incredible feel and vision as a passer which only opens up for lanes for his own offense. Youngs has a strong frame allowing him to play through that initial bump, giving him more time to make the read. This SW15H Elite 16u team has some really big games this weekend, it could be a breakout type of event if he can keep this going.

Youngs is a very cerebral and smart PG with the ability to make plays for others along with having legit outside touch. He’s running with SW15H Elite 15u who had a really strong weekend at The Phenom Hoops Stay Positive Showcase as he helped propel his team to a 3-0 record with a +80 point differential over those three games. Youngs had a really strong Sophomore season at Broughton where he averaged 8.1 Points, 2.2 Rebounds, 2.5 Assists, and 0.6 Steals per game on 53/43/77 splits. When Youngs initiates the offense, you can just tell he knows exactly what’s needed to generate a high quality shot on that given possession. He’s got the keys to the car that is this SW15H Elite 16u UA Rise team, a group that frankly has a chance to do a lot of special things both individually and collectively this season. Youngs should continue to establish himself as a bonafide next level prospect this spring/summer.
