Headlining the returnees is the TISAC Conference Player of the Year. Add an All-State accolade and you have one of the best players in the state. Julian possesses a rare skillset for his size that not many in the state can match up with. He’s an effective inside-out scorer that punishes people in the post with an array of moves as well as have an efficient perimeter game. He led the team in points, rebounds, and blocks while being atop the scouting report. A feat not many would be able to sustain throughout the year, being the focal point of opposing teams’ scout.

The next step in the development is to consistently dominate on a nightly basis. It’s almost as if he’s too unselfish, which is a hard thing to decipher as a young prospect. During the live session, he showed that won’t be an issue this year. Julian was as dominant as I’ve seen him imposing his will on both ends of the floor. That bled into the AAU season with Sw15h Elite where he was just as successful, helping secure a championship and being named to the all circuit team. He has gotten bigger, faster and stronger throughout the process but kept the same high skill level. One of the scariest sentences opposing teams who will face Cary Academy will read.

Tweedy is one of the more versatile two way players in North Carolina’s 2028 class and that was on full display as he helped SW15H Elite 16u win a UA Rise Championship. Tweedy is coming off of a really strong season at Cary Academy and has been a notable player in this class for a little while now. Performances like his 19 Point and 14 Rebound effort vs Redline provide context as to why. Tweedy shows the ability to impact the defensive end of the floor as well as he’s a very switchable guy with the ability to swing possessions with steals or blocks. Tweedy shows flashes of his outside shooting and as that gets more consistent with increased volume, I fully expect his recruitment to take off even further.

Tweedy is starting to really turn the corner as he’s beginning to realize how good he can actually be at the game of basketball. This Cary Academy team had an up and down start until Tweedy turned on the jets in the 4th quarter and it started on the defensive end of the floor. Tweedy’s ability to guard multiple positions along with protecting the rim make him a premier defensive talent in this 2028 class. His new found comfort in self creation along with his increased aggressiveness as a driver have made him that much more impactful on the offensive end as well. It’s clear that Tweedy has made major strides in recent months and it’ll be super fun to track him moving forward with this Cary Academy group.

Tweedy is a very versatile wing forward with a ton of next level ability that will undoubtedly take a big leap if he can build upon his season at Cary Academy. He’ll be playing with SW15H Elite UA Rise 16u this coming summer and he’s shown tremendous growth in his game over the course of this season. The blend of defensive versatility with his ability to score from all three levels offensively at his size make him a very intriguing prospect that could very well vault into the top five of this class when we update the rankings shortly. Tweedy is active on both ends of the floor and as it starts to click in his own mind just how gifted he is, his stock will only soar from there. The UA Rise circuit is a great setting for his game, he’s skilled with physical gifts and plays the game completely within himself. There are national services out there with him ranked and I think more will follow soon after they see what he’s got this summer.

Tweedy was the best long term prospect to suit up in this game and he showed constant flashes throughout this one at both ends of the floor. Tweedy did all of his work in this one within 10 feet of the basket, exploiting the size mismatch in this one. With his aggressiveness getting to the basket, Tweedy was at the line a whole lot, going 6-6 from the stripe in this one. Defensively, he helps anchor the interior along with possessing the ability to switch out and guard perimeter players. Final Stats: 12 Points, 7 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 2 Blocks, 1 Steal, 3-8 FG, 6-6 FT.

Tweedy is becoming a national level prospect and will see a MASSIVE jump in our next rankings update. He has a great blend of rim protection and outside touch to go with the emerging ability to self create. Tweedy plays within himself and the team at all times while continuing to show the ability to take games over for a stretch. Tweedy is a kid that will be recruited at the high major level and it’s really impressive to see what he’s doing early on at Cary Academy this season. One of the many great tweener forwards we have right now in NC.

Tweedy checks in at the fifth center position out of Cary Academy; he’s a name to know with SW15H Elite on the UA Rise stage this spring/summer given his activity as a stretch-center; he’s more than capable of operating inside and out with his length and athleticism on the floor; he isn’t afraid to operate on the perimeter either

Tweedy has found his stride at the forward spot for Cary Academy in his debut in the 2028 rankings. He checks in at No. 3 at the Center spot and 17th overall as he’s put up quite the production in 2024-25. He’s averaging 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 52 percent from the field. As he continues his overall development, look for his stock to continue to grow.

He’s a sizeable name at 6-foot-7 who’s starting to find his stride on the varsity stage at Cary Academy. He’s averaging 13.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game on 53 percent shooting from the field for the Chargers. A young name in North Carolina’s 2028 class to track early.
