. He is an incredibly dynamic point guard that can penetrate the defense and get into the paint consistently off of the dribble. His athleticism and quickness off of the bounce allow him to flourish in an up-tempo style. Williamson has had a couple of low-major Division I offers in the past and recently visited Valparaiso. The 6’1″ point guard averaged 16.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 9.6 assists per game while leading Gary 21st Century to the Class 2A Semi-State. Definitely a Division I level talent for a school still in need of a playmaking point guard.

A walking triple-double threat that advanced to the Class 2A Semi-State before falling in a close one to the eventual state champions not making the team is bound to draw some questions and criticism. Williamson, a dynamic 6’2″ guard with elite playmaking skills, averaged 19.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 11.1 assists per game this season for Gary 21st Century. In terms of on-court production, he is probably the leading candidate for “snub” status from the Indiana All-Star roster.
