-Had an efficient and impactful game whether he was on or off the ball in an OT win over rival North County. Turman scored on a curl around the baseline screen for a corner 3, stuck a 1-dribble pull-up middy, got past his matchup with a double crossover and scored on a middle drive floater off glass, and hit a C+S wing 3 to set the tone in the first half. Turman continued the scoring performance but started to show his value at the defensive end of the floor with a thunderous chasedown block off the glass and an inspired full sprint back in transition to force a miss before collecting the rebound to go coast to coast and score on a layup through contact at the opposite end. Turman is really strong for his size and uses that to leverage himself over ball screens and chip down on bigs to rebound the basketball.
