I’ve been singing Tomassi’s praises since I saw him at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250. The young man brings a lot to the floor for his team. He’s a strong ball handler that can apply a lot of pressure to the opposing defense. Tomassi can be a dangerous shooter, especially from the corners where he has a knack for getting open.

Tomassi has been playing terrific basketball and his well rounded game came into play against Swartz Creek. His passing really stole the show as far as his game that night. He showed and willingness and ability to find the open teammate or the hot shooter. Tomassi was key in finding teammates with his ball movement on the perimeter and ability to pass in the open floor.

The Prep Hoops Top 250 is the top collection of talent in the state come showcase season. That being said, Tomassi was one of the highlights of that event in my eyes. He was effectively aggressive throughout the event. The pace of the game with elite players not only didn’t bother him, he was better in that environment. A college coach could land in absolute steal in Tomassi.

Tomassi was one of the biggest surprises of the day. He blew up this weekend. He played with so much poise and control. Tomassi played off 2 feet, read the defense, and made plays from there. He was big on D as well, getting in his opponents face and forcing mistakes.
