Here’s that Northview backcourt again. Willis is probably underrated. He sees the floor well and takes pride in getting an offense rolling. Willis sees the floor, even when on the move. He can touch paint off the bounce and finish with touch at the rim.

The Storm 16 U squad had a back and forth battle with B Maze Elite and Willis stood out as a quick twitch guard who got to the paint off the dribble. With soft touch at the rim, Willis had a couple contested floaters and layups to score. Best in transition, Willis had a buzzer-beating layup to end the first quarter. I ended really impressed with Willis as a name regional scholarship programs should learn about when he’s a 17 U prospect.

Willis is an exciting prospect that will be more than worth the watch. He’s got a quick and smooth release on his jumper and he’s been shooting with confidence. I like the fact that Willis can use both hands with the dribble drive and can attack both sides of the rim.
