Williams came out with his foot on the gas and never let off. He looked very confident in his jumper. Williams hit 2 huge catch and shoot triples early in the game. He kept shooting at a high percentage throughout the contest. I was impressed with Williams ball handling and how much he was entrusted with it and how effective he was against mild pressure,

Northview has a pretty loaded backcourt and Williams certainly adds to that. It’s obvious that he’s worked on his body and frame through injuries and it has him ready to match up physically. Williams has terrific handles and sees the action on the floor ahead of time.

Williams is a terrific basketball talent. He’s a multi level scorer that can really score from so many spots on the floor. Williams is very comfortable working right to left off the bounce. He can finish at the bucket on either side of the rim.

Williams impressed me with his athletic game and the way that it influenced the game. He showed verticality with his rebounds and didn’t hesitate to push pace directly off of them. Speaking of pace, I really liked the way he got into the open floor and was able to pick up points because of it. Williams recognized how to fill lanes and keep space.

The Northview guard will be playing up in 17u this weekend. He’s solid on the perimeter and is willing to swing the ball and wait shot ready for the reversal, Williams is a multi skill threat in the open floor as he can pass and score in transition.

Wyoming picked up an 18 point win against Kellogsville and Williams was a highlight reel. He led the way with 23 points in the win, but managed to touch some other spots on the stat sheet. Williams added 2 assists and 2 steals and was solid defensively as well.

Williams athleticism stood out immediately, but I love his off-ball movement. Bouncy wing that cuts at the right time. Very unselfish player that does the little aspects of the game to win. Identify mismatches for his teammates one the offensive end.
