About Amari

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a long, athletic wing who uses my height and mobility to finish around the rim, rebound, and defend multiple positions. I’m still developing my skill set, but I play hard, stay coachable, and try to impact the game with energy and effort.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m focused, competitive, and always trying to learn. I respond well to coaching, stay composed under pressure, and try to outwork people. I’m humble, but I take pride in improving every day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m currently focused on school and basketball, but I stay active in class and help with group projects. As I progress through high school, I plan to join more clubs and look for leadership opportunities.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong teamwork and communication skills from playing sports. I’m dependable, disciplined with my time, and good at staying locked in on long-term goals. I also try to lead by example with my work ethic.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is dealing with injuries and staying patient during recovery. It’s taught me discipline, how to listen to my body, and how to keep working through setbacks without losing focus on my goals.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with strong academics, a competitive athletic program, supportive coaches, and a positive campus environment. I want a school where I can grow as a student, athlete, and person.
