Greg Ward Greg Ward 6'0" | PG Canyon Springs | 2027 State NV has moved into the top 40 again due to his skill, feel for the game, and nose for the basket. He is constantly looking for ways to score, and hunts shots both inside and on the perimeter. He’s also the type of player who can erase deficits or help his squad build out a lead. With plenty of time to raise his stock even more, don’t be surprised if he has some big games for the Pioneers in the coming months.

Greg Ward Greg Ward 6'0" | PG Canyon Springs | 2027 State NV (pictured) used his shiftiness to maneuver around defenders in Canyon Springs’ matchup against Palo Verde. His elusiveness was evident, and defenders resorted to fouling him at times when they couldn’t keep him from getting to the basket. He’s not just a driver, either, as he has a reliable jump shot in his bag and can make defenses pay from the perimeter. Ward had a lot to do with Pioneers keeping this one close.

Previous rank #39

Greg Ward Greg Ward 6'0" | PG Canyon Springs | 2027 State NV now sits in the #37 slot in the rankings. He utilizes change of direction to create separation on offense. Once he has some space to work with, he can then pull up and hit jumpers. Or he can get downhill and make a lay-up. Ward also has the ability to hang in air, which allows him to make tough finishes and draw fouls.

Ward is a nice piece for Cimarron. He has some shiftiness to him, and you have to respect his ability to get downhill. Since he’s become aware of defenders trying to take that away, he has also developed a 3-point shot.
