Expert Analysis

Tyler Johnson

Prep Hoops Scout

Jayden is a really talented guard that continues to grow in skill and IQ as he matures with the game. His ability to get to his spots in the midrange have grown a lot and he’s a sniper from 3. Now over at Legacy, he will be one of their perennial shooters this year. There is a chance he will also handle point guard duties and be the main playmaker on the floor when his number is called on to do so. He’s a high IQ player that understands the when’s and where’s in basketball and this year he will get more opportunity to prove that.

Jayden Johnson Jayden Johnson 5'9" | PG Canyon Springs | 2028 State NV is a floor general over at Canyon Springs and with LV United. He plays with good pace and operates with confidence. He can create his own shot off the dribble if there’s an opportunity to do so, or he can let one go off the catch-and-shoot from beyond the arc. In addition to his contributions on offense, Johnson has good energy on the defensive end, often pestering opponents with his active hands and quickness.
