Nolan Back has left Canyon Springs and now calls Mater East Academy home. He gives the Knights some much needed size and should make an impact in the paint on both ends of the court. He is also a floor-stretching forward who can knock down shots from the perimeter, and it’ll be exciting to see what he does in his new threads.

He already has some varsity experience, and his role may expand in his junior season. Time will tell, but I could also see him deflecting more passes on defense and altering more shots.

On offense, he can get it done inside by shooting over defenders. Or he can splash in shots from the perimeter. When it comes to his defense, Bach has the reach to his opponents pocket. And he snags rebounds as well.
