Ned is probably one of the fastest players with the ball in his hands. The PG goes end to end quicker then almost any other player in the state. He has had a remarkable jump over the last 12 months, landing him as the #3 ranked PG in the class.

I think a lot of people are going to regret forgetting about Ned. The PG who helped a depleted Spring Valley team to a League crown last year is back. He looked sharp, handling the ball, while making several tough shots for his team. Could be part of the state’s scariest backcourt.

One thing Spring Valley isn’t short on is guards. The tempo changing Ned could be the X factor for the Grizzles this season as they move up to 5A. His top 25 rankings gives Spring Valley 4 players in the top 25 of the rankings.

Ned looked like what an exprienced Varsity player should look like when playing against Spring League comp. He simply had too much speed for his opponents, and showed off his new found explosion, playing above the rim on a couple of dunk attempts.

35↑21 Ned is one of the feel good stories of the season. The PG has been a breakout player for Spring Valley, who lost their top two guards early in the season. The PG has responded tremendously, putting together a 26 point effort and a victory in their first win, a week ago against Canyon Springs. His two way play has led to his rise in the rankings.

Look for Ned to be a canidate for breakout player of the year. The PG has put in the work showing consistent productivity throughout his play in the summer. He’s quick and does a great job impacting games with his defense and transition scoring ability. I expect him to play both on and off the ball for the Grizzlies this season.
