He’s been one of the better on-ball defenders I’ve seen in the preseason, using toughness and good lateral quickness to hijack the ball from opponents. Shoots it ok, and showed a knack for scoring in transition. Look for him to be a potential new addition when the next rankings are released.
Highlights
The more I see him the more impressed with him I am. Like the pace he played with this weekend. Has the ability to do whatever it takes to help the team, whether its defending or scoring from the perimeter.
Gordon assured me he hasn’t grown, however he looked taller and longer on Saturday. Perhaps it was his play. He showed good active hands, being all over the floor, while getting his hands on tips and defelctions.

Harrington is a long lean athlete that popped. He was able to score when slashing to the rim, however it was his motor that allowed him to standout. The active wing was able to get out and play passing lanes, getting steals and finishing transition plays with dunks.
I think a lot of people are going to regret forgetting about Ned. The PG who helped a depleted Spring Valley team to a League crown last year is back. He looked sharp, handling the ball, while making several tough shots for his team. Could be part of the state’s scariest backcourt.
Patterson deserves his love. He’ll be counted on a lot to carry the load for his Spartan’s team, and if this week is any indication, he’ll be up to the task. The lefty stretched out his game, showing solid faceup ability. His bread and butter is still around the basket and he proved that today.
